Contrary to what some people think, this does matter. 1. It is wrong to de-fraud period. Nothing justifies lying to collect benefits. 2. It does go to what kind of character the person is. 3. It also proves that the person committing the fraud has lied in the missing person case. If she is telling the truth, and Brandon was living in the home, he at that time had a well paying job with benefits ( such as health insurance that would have paid for the baby she claimed was the reason she lied to get welfare benefits for ) working in the oil field business. So which is it? She lied so they could get benefits because they were greedy? She lied about just what kind of relationship and living situation Brandon and her had?  The stories do not match and yes the public is entitled to ask questions and know the truth, because the public is being asked to fund this person money ( money is the only form of help accepted in any of this ) for her and her three children.  And even more curious, when Brandon went missing, she stated she hired private planes ( 2 ) plus 1 helicopter for private searches. None of these were paid for by donations, she has publicly stated she used her savings. How does someone who was receiving benefits, plus working a part time minimum wage job and supporting three kids get a nice big savings account from?  Does not match. You can not keep telling different stories and expect the public to buy it hook, line, and sinker.  Plus, all the lies have just prevented Brandon from being found.  It is not the people who dare to ask questions who prevent him from being found, but the one who claims to be his soul mate that prevents him from being found. Because the lies that are told only serve to make law enforcement to not take it seriously and believe that he is in hiding.  The public is watching, as is so many agencies. How do you think fraud was found out? Watching and people close to the person reporting tips. Crime does not pay, in fact it will get you a one way ticket to punishment. And maybe a hidden GPS device on your vehicle.
